If you are into a project, you should look for Prince 2 certification. This is an internationally recognized accreditation program. To qualify for this program, you need to attend and pass an examination which tests your knowledge of the principles of Project Management. These principles include the process of managing change, risk management, the organization of resources, time management, stakeholder relations, communications, etc. You need to learn about the project life cycle, Project Chartering, Managing Resources, Estimating, Planning, Time Management, Change Management, and Risk Management.
You need to earn your Prince 2 certificate by attending two ( 2) courses. You can take one course each year. The courses cover all the topics that are covered Prince2 foundation in the exam. The courses that are available are PMP, Principles of Project Management, Principles of PRINCE 2, Principles of PRINCE 2: Quality Management and Principles of PRINCE 2: Service.
You need to pass a written exam as well as an oral exam. For the written exam, you need to prepare for an examination of 120 questions. This is a multiple choice test. The oral exam is a performance-based. You need to answer 10 questions from the 10 topics listed above. You must answer 5 of the 10 questions correctly.
