Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro
If you are looking for a great laptop, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro is the best Lenovo laptop you can buy. We found the build quality to be very good with no flex as it uses an aluminium frame and at 1.39 kg it is very portable and powerful for the student who wants to conquer everything. Ideal for..
The 11th-generation Intel Core i7 chip performed well in our tests, with numbers close to the Dell XPS 13’s. If you’re using the Yoga Slim 7i Pro with professional-grade apps like Photoshop, it should work. Integrated Iris Xe graphics provide average gaming performance even at low resolutions.
The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro is also certified by the Intel Evo initiative, meets Intel’s strict standards, and is considered one of the best Intel-powered laptops on the market. The battery life listed here should easily get you through the day, although the 19-hour figure is a bit optimistic for Lenovo.
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon is one of Lenovo’s best laptop choices, especially if you’re looking for something light and portable. It weighs less than 1 kg and is made of both carbon fibre and magnesium alloy. It is very strong and there is no real stretch in the frame. Lenovo’s testing has shown that the Yoga Slim 7i Carbon meets military-grade requirements with nine tests, including a 30-inch drop.
The Yoga Slim 7i Carbon’s internals mean you’ll have a lot more leverage than Surface 4 laptops, but we found the Lenovo Ultrabook more than up to the performance challenges. Fan noise means that while this laptop can be used for more intensive tasks, it may not be the best choice.
As for battery life, the Yoga Slim 7i Carbon lasted around 10 hours in our tests, making it a great model for everyday use. It lost 17 percent of its charge in 90 minutes, even at maximum brightness.
Lenovo Chromebook Duet
The Lenovo Chromebook Duet offers one of the most comfortable and convenient computing experiences money can buy, and for good reason, it’s topped our best Chromebook list for a while now.
At just 450g, it’s super compact and perfect for on-the-go use. It is also a very versatile device as it can be used as a touchscreen device or as a traditional laptop with a keyboard cover.
In our tests, the MediaTek Helio P60T octa-core processor also performed well when browsing the web. ChromeOS is a great operating system for people who need the basics to make their system work better, and I’ve found the Lenovo Chromebook Duet to do just that.
Lenovo Legion 5
If you are looking for an affordable Gaming laptop with powerful features, the Lenovo Legion 5 (Advantage Edition) is the one for you.
You will get good results in games as they are all powered by AMD cores. In our testing, we found that you can expect around 60 fps at the highest settings for a modern AAA game. For example, games like Dirt Rally run at over 120fps, which is impressive.
The Legion 5 (Premium Edition) has less aesthetics than more premium gaming ultrabooks like the Razer Blade 14, which is a true gaming monster while still looking great. Weighing in at 2.4kg, the laptop’s hefty weight means it’s equipped with plenty of ports, including several USB.
Lenovo Yoga 6
For those who like 2-in-1s, the Lenovo Yoga 6 is the perfect choice. I found it very solid with a 360-degree screen and no obstructions. In addition, the texture of fabric and plastic has a pleasant effect.
The 13.3-inch FHD display offers excellent contrast. It’s not the brightest screen, so indoor use is recommended. The chassis here is nice and thin, which helps with the Yoga 6’s modern aesthetic, and at 1.3kg it’s hardly a laptop. I found it to be very compact which makes it one of the best laptops for students.
The Yoga 6 is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U processor that outperforms more expensive ultrabooks like the Dell XPS 13 OLED, especially in the multi-core area. Its integrated graphics offer excellent gaming performance, but if gaming is a priority, we recommend getting a better, certified gaming laptop.
