HOW DO YOU REGISTER FOR A SALIK ACCOUNT? 

With a few simple steps, you can quickly get a Salik account. Registering is possible on Salik Dubai’s official website. Here is how it works:

  • Visit the Salik website.
  • On New User Registration, click
  • Complete the form with your details after registering as an individual user.

Additionally, you may now log in from your smartphone by using the Salik Dubai app.

Once you have an account, you may manage your payments, check for fines, see how much money is left on your card, and recharge it.

HOW TO PURCHASE A SALIK TAG ONLINE?

Online ordering a new Salik Dubai Tag is straightforward. The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority has stopped accepting paper Salik applications. The entire procedure is now paperless and takes only a few minutes.

Online transactions for new Salik tags can be made using the Smart Salik App or the company’s official website. You must give information like, after obtaining a Salik tag through authorized dealers or the Salik website:

  • Tag number for Salik
  • File Number for Traffic
  • Cellular number
  • additional data in accordance with the policies outlined on the Salik website or the Smart Salik App.

You’ll receive an SMS once all the information has been submitted verifying that the Salik Tag has been successfully registered or activated.

To purchase a fresh tag, go to the official Salik website. Salik Tag must then be activated online after the transaction has been made.

HOW MANY SALIK TOLL GATES ARE THERE IN DUBAI?

In Dubai, there are a total of seven Salik toll gates. They may be seen on all of Dubai’s main thoroughfares and overpasses.

The two Al Mamzar toll gates on Al Ittihad Street are the only exception to this rule. You will only be charged once if you pass through each of these in the same direction within an hour (AED 4).

HOW MUCH DOES THE SALIK TAG IN DUBAI COST?

  • The cost of getting a new Salik Tag is AED 100 at petrol stations
  • The price of Salik Tag online is AED 120
  • The extra AED 20 is the cost for delivery if you get it online
  • Prepaid toll balance of AED 50 in your account

HOW DO I PAY THE DUBAI SALIK TOLLGATE FEES?

You must register with Salik and affix the Salik Tag to the front windshield of the vehicle in order to pay the Dubai Salik toll gate costs. At these computerized gates, the Salik Tag will be scanned in order to deduct the toll fee.

  • You can bypass the Jebel Ali Salik Gate, Al Barsha Salik Gate, and Al Safa Salik Gate by taking the E311/Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. If you wish to avoid paying the Salik tolls on your way from Abu Dhabi to Dubai, this is extremely useful. Residents of the areas around Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Barsha, and Jebel Ali regularly use it. 
  • Al Garhoud Salik Gate and Al Maktoum Salik Gate can be bypassed by taking the Floating Bridge.
